Thoughts about inspiration and writing daily
There are many ways to improve one's writing and literary expression. The obvious way is to write as much as possible, and there seems to be an endless amount of instructions as to how, when and what to write. Many professional authors advice aspiring writers to write the first thing in the morning, or to write for ten minutes each day without interruptions. Another piece of advice is to write about anything and everything, even about subjects that don't seem the least bit inspiring. Recently, I have tried to take up the task of writing daily about various subjects. For this purpose, I've used daily writing prompts. I've subscribed to a mailing list where these prompts are given daily, but such effort isn't necessary since you can find a writing prompt list for each month from the internet - just Google "writing prompt list" and you should find lots and lots of lists.
